Meet Susan
A woman standing behind a table at an outdoor wellness event, with branded promotional items, supplements, and a sign for TaylorMade Wellness LLC.

For two decades, I thrived in the construction industry, developing skills in a field that shaped my professional identity. But life had other plans. In my 30s, my husband surprised me with my first riding lesson for my birthday—a gesture that sparked an unexpected and profound passion for horses. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a new lifestyle and eventually a new career. My husband often jokes that he has no one to blame but himself for my obsession.

Owning my first of several horses and caring for countless others, professionally and privately, I discovered the deep life lessons they have to teach.  Each one quietly (and sometimes loudly) guiding me on this remarkable path.

In 2020, amidst the chaos of lockdown and after the profound loss of my mother, I wanted to create something meaningful and rooted in connection.  While working full time and for the next 8 months, I poured my heart into creating a business plan incorporating equine therapy and wellness modalities. This became the foundation of my business—a venture driven by a simple yet powerful goal: to give back to the horses who have given me so much, advocating and providing them with the safe space and understanding they deserve.

Since 2020, I’ve earned numerous manual therapy and modality certifications, participated in countless hours of clinics and continuing education in biomechanics, prehab, and rehab.  I’m always learning and listening to what the horses need, both mentally and physically. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, allowing the horses to tell their stories and guide me in providing the care they require.

Today, I am proud to own Taylor Made Wellness LLC, offering a range of services to support not just horses but also humans and small animals. I collaborate with veterinary professionals, owners, riders, coaches, farm managers and the community.

This is more than a business —it's a way of life, and a tribute to the people and animals who have shaped my journey. As a woman of a certain age, I am proof that passion knows no timeline and growth is a lifelong pursuit.

Client Feedback

  • Susan is amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So caring & knowledgeable! Always takes the time to personalize her treatment to what areas my girl needs the most. She has been consistently getting PEMF treatments for almost a year now & Summit was added in about 4 months ago which ultimately made things even better for her!! My farrier asked if I had recently gotten her injected because her back end was the loosest she has ever seen it in 2 years & the answer was no! Just PEMF & Summit! 😍 Thank you for all you do!! You will remain an essential part of Teagan’s journey!
